NAMM 2014 In Videos and Pictures

NAMM 2014 is currently taking place at Anaheim, California and we’ve seen some rather fantastic new gear – here’s a brief smattering of vids and pictures….

Here’s the sweet looking  Buchla Music Easel

And here’s the arguable star of the show – the knob-tastic Moog Sub 37

Bitwig Studio on a big screen

We asked Amos from Moog to give us a 1 minute demo of the new Sub 37. Unfortunately the synth isn’t yet filled with presets so Amos quickly programmed three for this demo and ended up doing it in 40 seconds!

Here’s a demo of the new Korg Keytar…

Here’s an overview of the Korg MS-20 Kit…

A brief overview of Nektar’s Panorama….

Here’s a demo of Elektron’s RYTM Machine…

Thomas from Schmidt explains and demos the new Schmidt 8-Voice analogue synth in these vids…

And here’s the rather strange but cool Numark Orbit..

Studio Electronics Boomstar modules are regarded by analogue purists as the ones to own. The company had two new ones at NAMM. Each of the range emulates a famous synth with the one on show being the CS80. We give you a quick scan of the other cool modules surrounding them too!

Aero MIDI allows you to use your hands in 3D space to trigger notes and MIDI cc data.

We’ll have more vids and pictures coming very soon!
