Dimebag Darrell (1966-2004) was an American metal guitarist, best known for his work with Pantera and Damageplan. He released albums on major labels such as Atlantic and Elektra. Key albums include Cowboys From Hell (1990), Vulgar Display of Power (1992), Far Beyond Driven (1994), Reinventing the Steel (2000), The Best of Pantera: Far Beyond the Great Southern Cowboys' Vulgar Hits! (2003). His posthumous album, Dimevision Vol. 2: Roll With It Or Get Rolled Over (2006), was released on Metal Blade Records. He won numerous awards, including the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best Guitarist in 2004.
