Ableton Loop 2020

With five days to go until registration closes, Loop 2020 has announced its second wave of artists. These innovative artists will be sharing their methods and approaches to music to attendees at the Berlin event in workshops, seminars and performances.

Georgia Anne Muldrow is a multi-instrumentalist hip hop producer and singer, who will be sharing her creative methods when building a track.

Khyam Allami is an ethnomusicologist and multi-instrumentalist, specialising in the Oud – a lute-style instrument with 11 or 13 strings grouped into five or six courses, predominantly used in the music of Western Asia and North Africa. He will present his take on microtonality in modern music production.

NYX: Electronic Drone Choir use a variety of audio effects, multi-discipline singing techniques and group improvisation methods to break away from traditional female choir formats. They will be showcasing how they approach every collaboration as a personal experience, and music as a therapeutic tool.

Also coming to Loop are Liz Teutsch and Conor Dalton, Uwalmassa, duendita, as well as JFDR and Feels. Loop will feature a nighttime event on Saturday April 25th in Tresor and OHM nightclubs, open to all pass holders featuring live performances and DJ sets across four stages.

Registration is closing on 4 November, so there is still a short amount of time to get your ticket for Loop 2020. You can register through the Loop website.
