AIAIAI, manufacturer of modular headphones for pro users, has announced the TMA-2 Move Wireless and TMA-2 Move XE Wireless headphones.

The two new Move models build on the environmentally friendly DJ and production headphones, the TMA-2 Studio. These new headphones, however, are primed for “all music lovers”, the brand says. The Move headphones feature Bluetooth 5.0 compatibility, a single-button joystick control, and 40 hours of battery life.

AIAIAI’s TMA-2 Move Wireless are the superior of the two headphones, with vegan leather earpads and padded headband, a more powerful bass response and more clarity in the high-end. TMA-2 Move XE Wireless headphones, meanwhile, feature Repreve earpads, and a slightly less accomplished sound. Although, according to AIAIAI, the Move XE Wireless model still boasts “punchy bass and clear, highly detailed sound representation.”

TMA-2 Move Wireless and TMA-2 Move XE Wireless are made from 30 per cent recycled plastics, high-quality fibred from ocean-bound waste and 100 per cent recycled packaging. Although wireless, both headphones come with a 3.5mm 3-pole jack for wired connections.

Frederik Jørgensen, co-founder of AIAIAI, says: “For the past 10 years, we have developed headphones for creators – innovating everything from the build quality and acoustic design, to comfort for countless hours in the studio and on the road. We are proud to finally bring this technology into amazing Bluetooth headphones.”

In our review of AIAIAI’s TMA-2 Studio headphones, we said: “With a relatively neutral character, they don’t tend to colour the playback, meaning they’re suited to monitoring, light mixing duties and general listening. Moreover, the modular approach is a huge advantage, letting you adapt or repair a system easily, and the company’s focus on recycling and carbon neutrality is to be applauded.”.

AIAIAI TMA-2 Move Wireless is available for £200, and the TMA-2 Move XE Wireless is available for £160.
