Joining the KeyStep and KeyStep Pro is Arturia’s latest 37-key controller, the KeyStep 37. The slimkey controller is a compact solution to hands-on music creation and performance, sporting an arpeggiator, sequencer, scale quantisation and more MIDI controls. Its keybed is velocity-sensitive and aftertouch-enabled, with RGB LED indicators above each key for a visual aid on notes and chords played.

Arturia‘s KeyStep 37, like its siblings, features a 64-step sequencer with 8-note polyphony per step and eight slots for custom patterns. There are also eight different modes of arpeggiation to choose from for quick melodies and rhythms. The controller also has step recording and live recording sequencer modes, with mono and overdub recording options.

The chord capabilities of the KeyStep 37 will no doubt keep producers creative and entertained, with 12 different chord voicings, including a custom user-defined chord. A brand new Strum feature allows you to break up a chord as opposed to playing all notes simultaneously, with negative and positive modes to change the direction of the strum. You can also adjust the length of time it takes to strum the chord.

Scale mode will keep you effortlessly playing in key by quantising the whole keyboard. You can choose from five different scales, including chromatic, major, minor, blues and a user-defined scale to be as musically creative as you desire.

With assignable MIDI CC controls, and versatile connectivity options, you can communicate with your hardware synths, modular gear and software instruments via 16 assignable parameters across four banks. You can browse and select the banks using the control panel and screen.
