Arturia’s intuitive controller, KeyStep Pro, is now available worldwide
Take control of your software, hardware and modular gear from one 37-key sequencer.
First introduced at NAMM 2020, the latest member of Arturia‘s Step family is now available worldwide. KeyStep Pro is a 37-key, multi-channel polyphonic sequencer and MIDI controller. Its ability to control modular gear, outboard synths and production software simultaneously will be of interest to a lot of musicians, performers and producers.
Four independent polyphonic sequencer tracks give you full control over your instruments and sessions, with Track 1 also doubling as a 16-part drum sequencer. You can trigger 16 patterns per track, with each pattern containing up to 64 steps and 16 notes per step. The three-octave keyboard is velocity-sensitive and features aftertouch, allowing room for expression in your performance.
You can also use Chains to link up 16 patterns together to create whole songs or split your set into sections. Scenes can be used to switch between sets of sequences swiftly, and Projects will allow you to load, duplicate, edit and save your work in the onboard memory.
“Arturia’s designers studied the way musicians actually used their Step controllers, and created KeyStep Pro to remove the barriers between you and the music you want to create”, the French audio brand says. “KeyStep Pro gives keyboard players incredible sequencing and performance power in a compact, versatile controller.”
KeyStep Pro is now shipping worldwide and is priced at $449/399€. Find out more at arturia.com
