Audio Design Desk and Frame.io combine to ramp up efficiency in sound design
Pull video assets and comments from Frame.io straight into the post-production DAW.
AI-assisted post-production software Audio Design Desk (add.app) has announced the integration of Frame.io. The collaboration will allow users to speed up their workflow when creating cinematic audio and music for video.
Frame.io is the world’s leading video review and collaboration platform, allowing teams and colleagues to leave comments and suggestions on video projects. The integration with add.app means that sound designers can pull video assets and comments straight from Frame.io, then upload their results back to Frame.io to present to collaborators – all without ever leaving the timeline.
Audio Design Desk boasts a library of 2,500 free sounds – 25,000 for paying customers – to make use of, with AI-assisted creative tools that make applying music and sound effects a breeze. Coinciding with the Frame.io integration is an update to v1.3, dubbed Audio Design Desk Collaborate. This includes an optimised codebase that increases performance by up to 70 per cent, with a new AI-assisted importer. It also introduces perpetual licensing, where customers can now pay a one-time fee, with the option to upgrade at a discounted rate for full point upgrades.
