BAE Audio 73EQL

BAE Audio claim to have it all figured out when it comes to recreating vintage gear, aiming to keep faithful to original design specs. Thus, the 73EQL, a 500 series EQ, is born, sharing the quality workmanship and circuitry as the classic 1073 lineup. Using the same Carnhill/St Ives transformers, inductors and Elma switches as its 19” rack relative, BAE Audio say “the 73EQL delivers highly musical and authentic tone-shaping capability”.

Featuring a 3-band EQ section and highpass filter controls, the 73EQL is compact, and strives for classic 1073 colouring in recording, mixing, mastering and on-location applications. With the extended control across all three frequency bands, the 73EQL allows users to shape nuances of sound sources.

The 73EQL is available now at a price of $950. Find out more at baeaudio.com
