BandLab celebrates 30 million users with a giveaway of a Google Pixel 5

Make more music on the go with Google’s latest smartphone.

Free online music-making platform BandLab recently surpassed the 30 million users milestone and is celebrating by giving users the chance to win a Google Pixel 5. The competition is as easy as they come, taking place on the brand’s Instagram account.

To have a chance at winning the Google Pixel 5, you simply need to follow @bandlab on Instagram and like the competition post on the BandLab page. Then, in the comments, share your BandLab username and explain your favourite features of BandLab. Finish up by tagging two friends and tell them why they should join the BandLab community.

BandLab’s giveaway is open to everyone across the globe and ends on 23 April 2021. The winner will be picked at random and will receive a direct message from BandLab to let them know they’ve won.

The free browser-based DAW and social media platform allows users to create and share tracks on mobile, desktop and tablet devices. Collaborating with friends is a breeze, thanks to the Forking feature, which lets multiple other producers and artists add their own recorded material to your track, regardless of where you all are in the world.

As well as hosting your music for free to share and store, the platform also allows you to publish your works as an album, with you receiving 100 per cent of the revenue.

BandLab Sounds is also part of the platform. The free sample site hosts over 10,000 royalty-free samples that you can audition and edit before downloading to your computer. You can find some of MusicTech’s sample packs on BandLab Sounds, which were previously only accessible through purchase.

Competitions aren’t rare for BandLab. The brand’s Tracklanta competition sees aspiring producers and artists win mentoring sessions and recording workshops in Atlanta, Georgia, from esteemed professionals.
