EboSuite is an audiovisual gamechanger for Ableton Live
You can now turn Live 10 into a fully-fledged audiovisual suite.
Of all the digital audio workstations available to us, Ableton Live 10 isn’t often considered as one of the best for audiovisual projects. EboSuite is set to change that, with a plug-in suite for Ableton Live that transforms it into an audiovisual studio to create, sample, play, mix and manipulate visuals in the way you would with audio.
EboSuite allows you to load in videos to Clip View as you would with audio, and crossfade, mash and trigger different videos simultaneously. In true Cassetteboy fashion, you can trigger video via MIDI to slice and stitch different segments of video together to create something entirely new. You can also use MIDI to trigger video effects so that a drum pattern can open up a world of visual colour.
This looks like it would be an ideal tool for artists and music producers looking to spice up their live show, or perhaps audiovisual artists looking for new ways to craft their art.
