Electronic Sound Summit, founded in 2018 by Liverpool Audio Network, is a celebratory music event catered towards the Dance Music community. Taking place in Liverpool, the conference aims to bring the community together with a range of workshops, panels and talks from a variety of artists and dance music professionals in an effort to cultivate “education, inspiration and connectivity”, the organisation says. ESS 2020 will run from 28 February until 1 March and takes place on the World Heritage site of Liverpool’s waterfront.

The first wave of panellists has been announced, with Ableton kicking things off on Friday 28 February hosting a special takeover. The production stage will be home to talks, workshops and masterclasses presented by Ableton Certified Trainers and high profile artists in the dance scene. The takeover will dive deep into Ableton’s products, providing attendees with new tips and techniques to enhance workflow and inspire creativity, as well as offering a taste of what’s in store for the rest of the weekend.

Saturday and Sunday will present further masterclasses from esteemed artists such as Crazy P, Elliot Adamson, Alex Banks and more. Panels will take place across the conference with an abundance of professionals in the scene, sharing their wisdom. Topics include Artist Management, Utilising PR and what it means to master the art of being a warm-up act. The full list of panellists can be viewed on the Electronic Sound Summit website.

The organisation said of the event: “ With this event, we will host a range of sessions in venues across the city centre with the aim of keeping education, inspiration, and connectivity at the heart of what we do. ESS 2020 will be the culmination of our work so far and a celebration of the city’s electronic music community. We are committed to our aim of making Liverpool a world capital of Dance Music by empowering the many talented emerging artists who call the city home. This summit will be an important opportunity for new and upcoming artists to learn from and build relationships with established members of Liverpool’s already thriving scene. In keeping with our guiding principles of artist enrichment and positive social impact, we have worked to develop sessions focused on sustainability meeting the demands of the modern music industry. “

You can purchase tickets to the event now, with General Release prices starting at £49.50. Find out more at electronicsoundsummit.co.uk
