Come October, some of the biggest names in hip-hop production will grace The Studio, an interactive event that’s part of the A3C conference presented by ACID Pro Next.

Highlights of the event include live sessions conducted by Just Blaze (Jay-Z), Drumma Boy (Gucci Mane) and Young Chop (Chief Keef), who’ll not only break down hits they’ve worked on but also cook up new beats live.

Another draw of The Studio is having your projects evaluated by industry pros. Beat Pitches, for example, lets you plug in and play a one-minute composition for top A&Rs, who’ll, in turn, offer you instant feedback. Additionally, you can take part in Speed Listening Sessions, where your job is to turn a minute-long musical idea into a longer beat composition.

Elsewhere, The Studio also lets you experiment with the latest software and hardware products, including the ACID Pro Next DAW line. Touted as a game-changer, this DAW relies on Zynaptiq’s AI-based Stem Maker technology to intelligently split tracks up into drums, vocals and instruments.

The Studio will take place from 10 to 12 October. For more info and ticketing details, head over to a3cfestival.com.
