Teenage Engineering has announced Midnight Operator, a new weekly live streamed show hosted by in-house instrument specialist Tobias Von Hofsten.

Aimed as a way for the Swedish synth makers to stay connected with its music making community amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the program showcases product demos, tutorials, a live discussion, as well as conversations with guests ranging from internal staff, to plug-in maker Magnus Lidström of Sonic Charge, OP-1 guide writer Neil Richie of Synthdawg, and musician Jakob Haq.

As referenced in the name, each episode is streamed during midnight in a different country – the first episode was Japan, the fifth and most recent episode was Melbourne. The series also features some surrealistic imagery – which all just feels very Teenage Engineering.
