Analog Vibes Pultec Complete Kit

The original Pultec EQP-1A is a studio relic, used throughout almost every Beatles recording and continuously sought after by gearheads even today. We even created a guide a few years back detailing how you can emulate the power of the EQ, but it appears Analog Vibes have gone for a more creative approach, offering you a DIY Complete Kit that lets you build the Pultec EQP-1A. “Why bother with digital emulations of vintage gear when you can have the real thing?”, the brand’s website tagline says. Touché.

The Tube Program Equalizer Complete Kit is available for pre-order now, and is the second instalment of Analog Vibes’ ‘Build Your Legend Series’. The company has created a video that provides an overview of the original Pultec EQP-1A, plus two more videos that lead up to the release of the Tube Program Equalizer Complete Kit release. The Complete Kit will provide everything you need to create the EQ module, including ‘True-to-the-original authentic chassis set’, custom made parts, high-end components and all the other hardware required.

Analog Vibes is offering the kit as a group buy, meaning that once all the orders are filled, manufacturing will start. This means there will be a limited run, so if you’re interested in this offer, it’s advised to shoot your shot early. A detailed breakdown of the project is available on Analog Vibes’ website.

Pre-ordering closes on 5 February 2020, with a price of €1299 plus shipping costs. Find out more at analogvibes.com
