Boredbrain has released INTRFX, a compact interface that lets you connect your Eurorack synth to outboard gear like guitar pedals and drum machines.

INTRFX comes with two signal flow choices – Eurorack-level signals can be fed into outboard gear. Conversely, line-level instruments can be processed by your Eurorack modules.

To get started, connect your external devices to the interface’s three send-and-return channels. Each channel has an Interchange switch that lets you toggle between the two signal flow modes. Besides the mode switches, each channel also has a CV-controlled FX Blend knob.

Additionally, INTRFX can be used to achieve feedback effects. These are produced by sending FX return back into FX send – switching into the ‘wrong’ mode, as Boredbrain puts it. If you’re inclined to experiment with routing, you can patch INTRFX’s channels into one another and play around with the two modes.
