Casio has beefed up its Celviano Grand Hybrid line with two new pianos: the GP-310 and GP-510. Both models feature a bunch of upgrades such as richer bass, new piano tones and more.
The standout feature on these new models is a new speaker system that’s designed to improve sound projection and deliver heftier, more pronounced bass sounds. Each piano also offers better control over sound and touch, which will come in handy when you encounter pianissimo. Rounding out the upgrades are a new AiR sound source as well as an enhanced soft pedal effect.
Otherwise, the new Celviano Grand Hybrid models share similar features as their predecessors. These include precision wooden keys – engineered to mirror the travel and recoil of an acoustic grand piano – along with three piano tones: Berlin, Vienna and Hamburg. As their names suggest, these tones emulate the character of acclaimed grand pianos from Europe.
Available later this month at £2,735 (GP-310) and £3,895 (GP-510). More info at casio.co.uk.
