E-instruments has released Vibrant, a plug-in suite that samples the warm sounds of vintage electric pianos. Vibrant comprises emulations of four iconic electric pianos, including the Rhodes Stage Mark I, Rhodes Suitcase, Wurlitzer 200 A and Hohner Clavinet D6. It’s best used with Steinberg’s HALion 6, HALion Sonic 3 and HALion Sonic SE 3 platforms, which are compatible with any DAW supporting VST, AU or AAX formats.

Topping the emulation list is the Rhodes Stage Mark I, a versatile tool that can be deployed for genres like Lounge, Fusion, Jazz and Electronic music. This virtual recreation also aims to emulate the original’s signature bell-like character and smooth tone, which should come in handy when crafting flavourful melodies or snappy riffs. The other Rhodes emulation in Vibrant is Suitcase, a keyboard, amp and speakers bundle that was originally released in 1973.

Vibrant also features an emulation of the Wurlitzer 200 A, which equips you with the Wurli sounds pivotal to Fusion, Disco, Funk and Pop. Last but not least, the Hohner Clavinet D6 emulation recalls the legendary percussive-sounding keyboard heard on the recordings of Stevie Wonder and Led Zeppelin.

Vibrant comes with a 24GB sample library, half of which is in lossless compressed formats. The plug-in suite also helps you jump-start creativity with 40 presets across different genres.
