Erica Synths unveil new Pico Drive Eurorack Module

Erica Synths has introduced the newest member of its Pico Series, the Pico Drive. As suggested by its name, this is a drive module that takes up just 3HP of rack space while offering powerful distortion capabilities.
The Pico Drive is a combined wavefolder overdrive, meaning that amplitude peaks beyond a threshold get ‘folded’ unto itself – unlike digital clipping that chops off the top. The result is saturation that adds complex harmonic richness to your output signal.
In terms of controls, the Pico Drive offers adjustable gain and drive levels, CV gain and CV drive controls for added expression, and a built-in limiter to prevent unwanted clipping in the overall output signal.
This module could sound particularly great when paired with drums – both analogue or digital – and because of its size could also be a great addition to your lunchbox.
