Softube has released Monoment Bass, a software synth plug-in that’s designed to provide a solid foundation to your tracks.
Softube’s aim is to produce a mix-ready low-end instrument that comprises massive, modern bass sounds infused with rich overtones and focused effects including a multi-band compressor, a spatialization tool, analogue distortion and more.
In creating Monoment Bass, Softube collaborated with sound designer Tobias Menguser to arrive at a curated range of top-end sounds and an intuitive synth interface.
At the synth’s core are stereo source sounds sampled from boutique hardware. The synth’s architecture shares similarities with Softube’s Parallels multi-waveform synth, in that it lets you blend two different sources together for a layered, more complex sound.
To get you started, the plug-in arrives with a collection of professionally created presets made by artists including Madison Mars and sound library experts such as Sample Tools by Cr2 and Function Loops.
