IK Multimedia has expanded its Syntronik library with Bully, a virtual bass synth inspired by all three iterations of Moog’s iconic Taurus.

The vintage synth in question was reputed for its unique organ pedal interface, slow, sweeping low pass filters with minimal resonance, and booming bass effect. It has been famously used by the likes of Rush, Yes, Genesis, U2 as well as The Police.

Featuring over 1GB of samples, Bully is a comprehensive representation of Taurus I, II and III. The software pack is free for Syntronik users who sign up to IK Multimedia’s newsletter by 23 May. Otherwise, it retails at €49.99.
