Jabra has announced a complete refresh of its Elite line of true wireless earbuds with the Elite 7 Pro, Elite 7 Active and Elite 3 earbuds. This also means the company will be phasing out its Elite 65t and 75t by the end of the year.

The brand says each of the new models bring “new and unique” technologies optimised for their specific purposes. They’re also equipped with Qualcomm aptXTM HD audio, so they’re ready for high-resolution playback.

Elite 7 Pro

This pair features what Jabra calls MultiSensor Voice technology for crisp and clear voice calls. It achieves this through a combination of four microphones, a bone conduction sensor and an “intelligent” algorithm.

There’s also personalised active noise-cancelling by way of Jabra’s MySound audio test, as well as HearThrough, which lets you blend ambient sounds with playback. On the design side of things, the Elite 7 Pro earbuds are said to be Jabra’s smallest earbuds to date and are rated IP57.

These buds promise nine hours of non-stop playtime (with active noise cancelling) and 35 hours with case charging. They also support Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.

Elite 7 Active

Designed for intense workouts, Jabra’s Active category introduces a ShakeGrip coating to stay in your ears while you move about. The Elite 7 Active earbuds also include a heart monitor, rep counter, race predictor and more to keep you informed about your workout.

The pair also has adjustable active noise cancelling and a microphone mesh that acts as a windshield for taking calls in blowy conditions.

With the charging case, you get a total of 13.5 hours of playback. The earbuds themselves are good for 4.5 hours of listening on each full charge.

Elite 3

The most affordable of the three pairs, the Elite 3 (pictured above) comes loaded with a surprising variety of features, from personalised active noise cancelling and HearThrough to a thoughtful mono mode that lets you listen to just one earbud while the other charges.

These offer 7 hours of play on a full charge (with active noise cancelling turned on) and a total of 28 with the charging case.

Pricing and availability

The Elite 3 go on sale first on 1 September at £80. Meanwhile, the Elite 7 Pro and Elite 7 Active come out on 1 October for £200 and £170, respectively.
