Numark has announced two new DJ controllers geared for live performance: the Party Mix II and Party Mix Live.

These are entry-level DJ controllers, with the difference between them being that the Party Mix Live has internal stereo speakers.

Both controllers feature large touch-sensitive wheels for scratching and jogging through tracks, filter effect knobs, pitch sliders, performance pads, a two-band EQ on each deck, and transport controls for sync, play/pause and cue.

They also come with plug-and-play support for Serato DJ Lite and Algoriddim’s djay Pro AI. And, along with that, integration with streaming services – Tidal, Beatport LINK, Beatsource LINK, and SoundCloud GO – saving you time on amassing a library of tracks in order to start playing.

A switch on the side of the devices turns on a synchronised light show, powered by three multi-coloured LEDs.

Chris Roman, Numark’s director of product development, spoke about the latest version of the brand’s “top-selling controller for new DJs” in a statement.

“With their pro build quality, anyone looking to learn the art of DJing and have a party while doing it should pick up one of these fun DJ systems,” he said. “This latest generation improves on this with more interactive platters and a focus on streaming music.”
