PreSonus has released Deep Flight One, an instrument library for Studio One’s Presence XT sample-player that promises otherworldly sounds through blendable vintage synths and soundscape options.

The collection provides users with three categories of sounds: Synths, Modular and Field Recordings. These are meant to be layered atop oneother, and fine-tuned for custom (and usually dreamy) results. 130 presets also come preloaded with the library for instant results.

There are some rare options for synth samples, including the Oberheim 4 Voice, New England Digital Synclavier, and the elusive Schmidt synthesizer. For its Modular layer, PreSonus sampled various Eurorack and Buchla systems.

The locations where the Field Recording layer was recorded has been kept a secret. However, these can be used to thicken up the overall atmosphere of sounds.

Included with the software instrument is a loop library consisting of over 50 MIDI loops, categorised into genres such as EDM, trance, trap and more. These can serve a starting point for a new project or be adapted to fit a pre-existing one, with tweakable melodies, chord progressions and more.

Deep Flight One also boasts integration with PreSonus’ Atom SQ controlle, automatically mapping parameters onto its controls.

Check out the demo of Deep Flight One below.

Deep Flight One is available for $99.95 and is included, along with Studio One, with PreSonus Sphere memberships.
