NAMM 2020: PreSonus has launched the ioStation 24c, an interface/controller that combines features from the brand’s Studio Series USB-C devices and FaderPort.

According to PreSonus, the ioStation 24c was designed for solo musicians, podcasters and other content creators for use in their home studios. On the recording side, the 2-in/2-out interface is built on audiophile-grade 24-bit/192kHz ADA converters and a pair of PreSonus’ XMAX Class A analogue mic preamps, which are renowned for their richness and clarity.

The controller section of the ioStation is meant for mixing. It comprises a touch-sensitive motorised fader as well as the Session Navigator. The latter provides quick access to eight essential functions – for example, it lets you zoom in and out of your timeline via a large 360-degree button and other companion buttons.

The ioStation 24c supports Mackie Control and HUI protocols to control Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Cubase and Live, among other DAWs. Additionally, PreSonus has bundled in its Studio Magic Plug-in Suite – and the whole package will only set you back $299.95.
