Softube collaborated with leading brands on quite a number of these plug-ins, including Weiss, Summit Audio, Marshall, Doepfer, Drawmer and Trident. These partnerships came with the goal to offer authentic recreations of hardware devices.
Weiss EQ MP, for example, is touted to be a 1:1 code port of the celebrated Weiss EQ1. Meanwhile, Amp Room and the Marshall Cabinet Collection includes meticulously modelled virtual versions of legendary guitar gear.
As with previous editions, customers will have access to the plug-ins from previous editions of Volume. In total, that’s over 30 plug-ins ranging from analogue channel strips to dynamics processors, EQs, time-based effects, instruments and more.
Softube Volume 5 is priced at $899 and is available now. So, how much cheaper is it compared to buying each software title individually? About $3,000 or roughly 80 per cent.
