Genelec to host a loudspeaker webinar on 5 May
The hour-long tutorial will focus on how to choose the right loudspeakers.
Taking place at 7am EDT on 5 May 2020, studio monitor manufacturer Genelec will be offering online guidance on choosing the right studio monitors. Hosted by the brand’s Regional Business Development Manager, Andy Bensley, the G*Connect webinar will last for an hour and will address queries that are often raised to the company from its customers.
Andy will cover everything to consider before opening your wallet for a new sound system. This includes your room size, listening distance, which type of audio you’re creating or listening to and the different technologies Genelec has to offer in its range of loudspeakers. The aim of this discussion is primarily to help you understand which models will be most appropriate for you.
Naturally, Andy is no stranger to Genelec’s loudspeakers, having used them as a student and through most of his studio and FOH engineering career. He then spent six years at Source Distribution – Genelec’s primary UK distributor, before joining Genelec in 2019. Thanks to this wealth of experience, he knows exactly how to evaluate the in-room performance of loudspeaker systems in a variety of studios and how to improve it.
