Get instant surf sounds with this 1963 Fender Tube Spring plug-in

Past To Future Reverb has been growing quite a library of reverb plug-ins, though they claim this is the “best tube spring reverb impulse responses that we have ever made to date”.

The plug-in recreates the sound of the 1963 Fender 6G15 Tube Spring Unit, which was often found in surf music, and can be more recently found in indie and psychedelic rock. We’d love to hear the sound of the 6G15 on some synth leads and pads.

The reverb unit offers 38 impulse response designs, with Tone and Dwell settings for colouration. These parameters were also present on the original model, along with a mixer to control the dry/wet signal.

Past To Future Reverb’s plug-in offers 24-bit/96kHz audio resolution, and is available now for $15.
