Madrid-based creative agency Gris Design has shared several images of the OP-S – a smartphone design concept that imagines the Teenage Engineering’s OP-1 synth as a slider phone. Take a look below.

According to Gris Design, this imagined smartphone-synth would, of course, be for “musicians who want to take their music production with them,” and features a full keyboard, audio ins and outs, four built-in microphones, front-facing speakers, a full screen and three cameras to make the device the “perfect tool to create and share the process on the go.”

In an Instagram post, Gris Design revealed themselves to be ardent fans of Teenage Engineering and gave the synth maker special thanks for inspiring the concept device.

“We would like to thank your team for being an inspiration to many musicians and designers,” they wrote. “Since your talk at our University 6 years ago at IED Madrid, we’ve been your fans! We’ll continue working to one day reach your level!”
