Holly Herndon and Mat Dryhurst start a new podcast, Interdependence
The show will put individuals from music, technology and politics in the spotlight
Electronic avant-garde composer Holly Herndon and collaborator Mat Dryhurst are starting a podcast from their Berlin studio.
Interdependence will be a conversation with figures at the centre of music, technology and policy. You can listen to and support the podcast through a dedicated Patreon page.
A monthly subscription isn’t required to listen to the episodes, but becoming a patron will give you access to exclusive shows and progress reports, with two patron models available.
The first guest on the show is Evgeny Morozov, founder and publisher of The Syllabus. The discussion revolves around COVID-19 solutionism and how to improve the accessibility of information online.
Holly and Mat are partners and longtime music collaborators. Holly’s recent album, PROTO, received input from Mat, as well as her AI companion, Spawn. You can read more on the album and Spawn here.
