NAMM 2020: IK Multimedia has released the next wave of its 10th anniversary release, comprising a new T-RackS module, a mobile recording interface and a new reference monitor colour.

T-RackS Sunset Sound Studio Reverb

This latest T-RackS module (pictured above) is the first convolution reverb designed for IK’s T-RackS 5 mixing and mastering software, released as a collaboration between IK and Sunset Sound owner Paul Camarata. IK used its new dynamic convolution engine to capture the acoustics and spatial vibes of Sunset Sounds’ booths.

Users can select from a variety of reverbs taken from the live echo chambers and each of the three studios found in the facility, including three live echo chambers, two plate reverbs and one spring reverb. An intuitive GUI allows users to easily shape the module’s sound, along with additional controls handling high- and low-pass filters, low and high shelving EQS, stereo image width and more.

The T-RackS Sunset Sound Studio Reverb will be available in January at a special price of €/$149.99.

iRig Pro Duo I/O

IK’s iRig Pro Duo I/O is billed as an ultra-compact two-channel audio/MIDI interface that allows high-quality recording across a variety of devices. Supported devices include microphones, MIDI controllers, guitars, basses, keyboards and more. It can also double as a MIDI interface.

Two analogue combo XLR inputs are provided for connecting and simultaneously recording any combination of dynamic and condenser microphones and instruments. Each channel has its own input gain control and is supported by a class A preamp, while a direct monitor switch provides latency-free monitoring.

The iRig Pro Duo I/O also comes with free access to over $/€500 of IK software, apps, and in-app material.

The iRig Pro Duo I/O will be available in January at €/$199.99.

iLoud MTM in White

The iLoud MTM reference monitor now comes in a clean white option, while still delivering the pristine sound and accuracy expected of the series. The symmetrical midrange-tweeter-midrange (MTM) design, coupled with IK’s advanced DSP expertise, are responsible for the monitor’s superior imaging and flat, linear phase response that simultaneously minimises the impact of room acoustics. The iLoud MTM also features one-touch, acoustic self-calibration with an included reference microphone to easily adjust to any room’s acoustics.

Additional features include a 103dB SPL maximum sound pressure, audiophile-grade, high resolution algorithms and top-of-the line A/D converters, off-axis response management and IK’s patent-pending Physical Response Linearisation system that corrects the system’s performance in real time.

The iLoud MTM is now available at €/$349.99 individually or €/$699.99 for a pair.
