Spotify Enhance Feature

For listeners who need a hand adding songs to a new or existing playlist, Spotify’s new Enhance feature could recommend tracks that fit.

Enhance is available for Spotify Premium users. You can toggle these recommendations on or off with a tap of the ‘Enhance’ button at the top of each playlist. When switched on, the algorithm will recommend one song after every two tracks. If you like the song, just tap the “+” button to add them into your playlist.

Songs added this way will be marked with a green icon so you can still keep track of what was originally in your playlist. And for users who fear that the algorithm might be a little “too helpful”, recommended tracks are capped at a total of 30 so you still have control over what’s in your playlist.

You can also toggle off the Enhance feature should you decide that you don’t want recommended tracks in your playlist anymore.

Spotify will be rolling out the Enhance feature over the next month to all Premium users in select markets across Android and iOS, including: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland Israel, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, U.K., and the U.S.

The feature will be available in other markets in the coming months.
