TikTok announces creator-led NFT collection featuring Grimes and Lil Nas X collaborations
Six one-of-one NFTs inspired by the platform’s most “culturally significant” videos will be up for auction on 6 October.

Tiktok has announced TikTok Top Moments, its first-ever NFT collection inspired some of the most iconic videos shared on the platform in a collaboration with a select group of top creators that include Lil Nas X, Grimes, and Bella Poarch.
The collection features six Tiktok videos that TikTok calls “culturally significant” and will feature Lil Nas X, Rudy Willingham, Bella Poarch, Curtis Roach, Brittany Broski, FNMeka, Jess Marciante and Gary Vaynerchuk collaborating with COIN ARTIST, x0r, RTFKT, Grimes, and other NFT artists. The six videos will be one-of-one NFTs, but the collection also includes several limited-edition NFTs for fans to buy.
The collection will be made available on Ethereum through a partnership with the Immutable X platform.
Tiktok claims that the proceeds will “largely” go directly to the creators and NFT artists, though they provided no details on how the proceeds would be split. The Verge reported that while the proceeds will largely go to the creators and artists, Immutable X and the Museum of the Moving Image – which will host an exhibition titled Infinite Duets: Co-Creating on TikTok with the six featured videos of the collection – are due a slice of the pie as well.
TikTok themselves will not take any of the proceeds from the sales, and has promised that the NFTs, which will be dropped weekly, will be “sold at accessible price points to ensure each creator’s audience can own a piece of their history.”
The first drop goes live on 6 October, and sees the one-of-one NFTs, including the Lil Nas X x @Rudy_Willingham, @BrittanyBroski x Grimes and @BellaPoarch x Grimes collaborations, up for auction on Immutable X’s platform. The limited-edition NFTs will be dropped weekly till the end of the month.
