After a few months’ wait Korg is pleased to reveal that Gadget for Mac is now available to buy with the release of version 3.0…
With the new update it’s now possible to craft and create at home as well as on the move as projects can be synced between Mac and iOS via iCloud. The OS X version also features the “Gadget Plug-In Collection”, plug-in versions of the Gadgets in AU, VST, NKS or AAX formats.
New to 3.0
- Two new gadgets provide long-awaited audio recording.
- “Recife” – A new powerful drum gadget with 16 pads.
- Supports music sharing service “Allihoopa”. http://allihoopa.com/
- Supports exporting plug-in data with Ableton Live Export.
- Supports audio document manager “AudioShare”.
- Other improvements have been made to enhance stability.
Pricing and Availability:
Gadget is currently being sold at half price for the iPhone and iPad version costing less than £19.99 from the App Store and for a 1/3 off for the Mac version costing $199 (usually $299) from the Korg Shop. It’s important to note that whilst considerably cheaper many Gadgets on iOS are offered as in-app purchases unlike OS X where they are included when you purchase the app.
