First appearing on the scene in 1981 the Mono/Poly analog synthesiser was a revolution, thanks to its unusual design that enabled it to be used as a 4-voice polyphonic synthesiser.

Korg says that the iMono/Poly completely reproduces all the features of the original, but also comes with new functionality, which includes 2 multi-effects units and 8 virtual patches.
