Swedish plug-in creator, Lindell Audio, has teamed up with Plugin Alliance to release exacting emulations of classic Neve channel modules. This includes the 1073, 1084 (mic preamp/EQ) and the 2254 (mono limiter/compressor). Plus, the 1272 (line amp) buss module from the Neve 8028, which was one of the last 80 series hand-wired mixing consoles created by Neve Electronics, used on records from Queen, David Bowie, Nirvana and many more. Using Brainworx Audio’s TMT (Tolerance Modelling Technology) and THD (Total Harmonic Distortion), Lindell Audio’s 80 Series receives an added touch of analogue-sounding authenticity.

Lindell 80 Series brings the sound of the 8028 desk into the digital domain, allowing you to track, mix and master your projects with this particular Neve essence, and achieve the warm sound that is usually only possible by using the individual components found in the original channel strip. 32 different channels are available to replicate the various component tolerances that can be found in the original hardware.

Eryck Bry, a music producer, recording and mixing engineer said this of the plugin:
“With warm lows and smooth highs, this plugin has easily become one of my favourite console emulations! It’s extremely simple to use, has character, and sounds really good! This is one of those plugins that really can make a difference. I love it!”

Lindell 80 Series is available for purchase now, at an introductory price of $200 USD later rising to $250. A 14-day trial is also available. For more information visit plugin-alliance.com
