LOCI has designed hardware equipment stands that are designed to be accessible, ergonomic and usable. The stands can be combined, interlocked and expanded, so you can expand your collection to accommodate any new pieces of gear you acquire, without having to go out and buy an entire new unit. The company was founded in Britain by Steven Holmes, a musician and designer. He designed the stands to solve the “major pain for electronic music studio owners – arranging desktop equipment”, LOCI says.
The flexibility of LOCI stands accommodate for the needs of a studio now, and in the future, whether space is needed for a full-size keyboard, wooden modular synth cases, or drum machines and synthesisers. Desktops, laptops, speakers and other devices are also capable of being placed on the stands. The LOCI stands can be positioned at multiple angles to provide accessibility many studio layouts. They are made from strong, responsibly sourced oak wood from Sheffield.
Source Distribution will be the exclusive distributors of LOCI across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Source Distribution Brand Manager, Alex Theakston, said “We live in an age of amazing, compact desktop devices, but crucially limited desk space to put them in. If something is not easily accessible, it often doesn’t get used. LOCI offers a wonderful solution to this problem – while allowing us to stack gear on top of gear. And best of all, LOCI is not device-specific. So the stand you buy today will be just as useful ten years from now.”
