Marshall ups its game on the headphone front with the new Monitor II ANCs (Active Noise-Cancelling), which the brand says deliver “bright and crisp highs, punchy mids and deep bass”.
Feature-packed and stylish, Monitor II ANC headphones are inspired by Marshall’s heritage, maintaining the signature sound and aesthetic of the brand. Tuned 40mm dynamic drivers are built in to produce a crisp sound that is “balanced and clear, no matter the volume”, Marshall claims. A frequency response of 20hz – 20kHz covers the spectrum, plus 96SPL driver sensitivity.
One of the key selling points here is the active noise-cancelling technology that the Monitor II ANC wireless headphones are designed with. A dedicated ANC button allows you to toggle between active noise cancellation, ‘Monitoring Mode’, and removal of active noise cancellation altogether. A button on the ear allows you to switch between EQ presets, or activate Google Voice Assistant, which lets you manage your day, respond to messages and more without glancing at your phone.
Connect to your audio-playback device via BlueTooth 5.0 and play music wirelessly for up to 30 hours with active noise cancellation and 45 hours without. About 15 minutes of charging will provide you with five hours of playback if you’re in a hurry. A control knob lets you control music and functionality too.
Marshall says that “super-soft ear cushions and a plush headband” are featured for your comfort, with metal rotation hinges that adapt to any head shape. “With their collapsible design, the Monitor II ANC headphones are the ultimate travelling companion.”
The Monitor II ANC headphones come with a USB-C charging cable, detachable 3.5mm cord and a canvas carrying bag for travelling.
Marshall’s Monitor II ANCs will be available across the globe from 17 March 2020 at a price of $320; find out more at marshallheadphones.com
