Indulging on his first-ever trip to NAMM, Michael Stein is found floating around the collection of quirky modular instruments on the show floor, where he and his colleague, Kyle Dixon, perhaps feel at home.
The pair were known to use modular synthesis to create some of the nostalgic, often menacing sounds of the Stranger Things soundtrack. We took the opportunity to quiz him on his initial thoughts of the NAMM Show, what products he was excited to see and how his new studio in LA is shaping up.
Stein also gives some brief insight into the future of Stranger Things and his recent work with Boan.
