AG Cook helped Apple open its launch event yesterday (18 October) by appearing in a video segment for a song created from the sounds of 45 years of Apple products.

Titled Start Up, the song and video centres around Cook sampling various products from Apple’s history – from the iMac G3 and HomePod to the classic iPod – on Logic Pro. Check out the video below and challenge yourself to see how many you recognise (we’ve included the full list of sounds below).

Yesterday’s Apple event put a spotlight on music, with the announcement of spatial audio features for Logic Pro, the third iteration of Airpods, fresh colours for HomePod Mini and the long-awaited M1 pro and M1 Max Macbook Pros.

A new Siri-powered tier for Apple Music was also announced for $4.99 a month, half the price of a standard subscription. Apple Music Voice will let users stream music through the virtual personal assistant.
