Native Instruments Cloud Supply

Native Instruments‘ Play Series is a collection of Kontakt instruments designed to create desirable sounds with ease, featuring Analog Dreams, Lo-Fi Glow, and – the brand’s latest offering – Cloud Supply.

Cloud Supply provides you with synth keys, plucks, pads, arpeggios, bells and sequences to create deep, wavy sounds ideal for trap, hip-hop, drill and grime. The sounds have been processed through high-end analogue studio gear and was developed in collaboration with Grammy Award-winning producer and writer, Snipe Young.

150 presets are included in Cloud Supply, with the ability to blend between two individual sound sources, A and B. Six parameters are on the main page of the instrument, too, to swiftly change up your sound as you play.

You can also open up the Sound Editor page to configure parameters of the sources to your liking, altering tuning, filters, panning and envelopes. The effects chain of any presets can be customised with the Effects editor, with an intuitive drag-and-drop system to swap out effects. A 16-step sequencer can be used to sketch out new ideas in a flash, with six assignable macros, such as filter or distortion, to sequence as well.

You can hear the instrument in action below:

Cloud Supply runs in the free Kontakt Player or in the full version of Kontakt – version 6.2 or higher.

Native Instruments’ Cloud Supply is available now at a price of £44. Find out more at native-instruments.com
