Mastering Course 22-23 November 2014
The Mastering Course, taught by former MusicTech writer Russ Hepworth-Sawyer and former Abbey Road mastering engineer, Paul Baily, introduces the art of music post-production. Students discuss the principles of mastering including: an appreciation of the role of the mastering engineer in the production process; the art of mastering; and the vision for the product. The practice of mastering will also be explored including an investigation of the common equipment used within mastering. Focus will also be placed on professional level systems such as Pyramix and ATC Monitoring.
The course is held in Skipton, North Yorkshire over a weekend – 22-23 November 2014. Cost is £150
