Point Blank Music School has recently opened the doors to its Los Angeles school, and the official PBLA launch event will be taking place on Thursday, February 19th 2015. This event is a great chance to check out the new school and get hands-on with fully Ableton and Native Instruments-equipped stations.

You’ll be able to network with music industry professionals and learn from interactive seminars, tours and masterclasses. You can reserve your FREE tickets via the Eventbrite page to attend this special event.

The day will commence from 1.30 pm at Mack Sennett Studios‘ Stage 1 space. After initial welcomes and introductions, Point Blank expert instructor Tom Wilson aka Sweatson Klank will dive into some key production tips in Ableton using the latest studio gear. This masterclass will present the ideal opportunity to get a flavour of some of the course content at PBLA.

The event will also host a panel moderated by Head of Point Blank LA Jesse Rogg, looking into ‘The Business Behind the Music’. This discussion will focus on what a new artists needs to think about when entering the music business, and will feature a number of LA-based music industry experts and artists on the panel.

Fully-equipped music production workstations will be set up ready for those who want to try out the equipment during the studio tour time, with every station including Ableton Push controllers, Native Instruments’ Komplete Kontrol S-49 keyboard, AIAIAI TMA-1 Studio headphones and REV by Output.

PBLA partners Native Instruments additional have an unmissable live performance planned for attendees, from internationally respected musician Mark de Clive-Lowe. Marc will perform using NI’s flagship Komplete Kontrol S-Series and Komplete 10 and a Q&A session with the audience will follow shortly after.
