Noisehive was originally launched in 2015 by Xelon Entertainment to offer a solution for independent artists to publish their material online. The initial launch was open to referral clients only, but now the platform is being re-launched with a new website that allows artists, band and labels to send their music off into the world. The aim is to offer a high quality, user-friendly and cost-effective alternative to major distributors and web-based aggregators.

The new website lets artists see a clear overview of their campaigns, including everything from set-up and delivery of releases, to planning their rollout and access to a thorough recommended resources section. Noisehive uses a simple price plan, with a one-time sign-up fee of $200 USD, with no further costs for assets or services. Users will have access to a hands-on service that isn’t always available from a purely website based aggregator, backed by a team of music lovers and experienced industry professionals. Noisehive even provides each artist with a dedicated label manager, offering ongoing support and resources for each campaign.

Arlo Enemark, Noisehive’s manager says “Artists often found us through Apple’s preferred aggregator listing, but we didn’t have a home for them yet. These were musicians with an album coming or a small back catalogue, whilst our regular clients were sending us multiple releases a week. Not having a business model for these artists often meant turning them away, or just not giving them the TLC they deserved. We can now educate the client with all they need to get the record out and make the most of its release”.

Since it’s launch, Noisehive has an impressive roster of local and international talent, including Kayex, Made In Paris and Golden Features.
