This week in our Logic Tips series, Jono Buchanan shows us how a sidechained gate can create interesting textures which evolve with the track in Logic Pro X. Last week we looked at alternative approaches to sidechain compression but, as Jono explains this week, compressors aren’t the only utility that can be affected with sidechain signals.
