This update introduces the new RV7000 mkII, a powerful convolution reverb that sounds amazing, inspires new ideas, and sparks creativity. With RV7000 mkII, Reason’s cornerstone reverb gets a sophisticated new convolution engine. Select from a broad selection of reverbs to suit the sound of any genre or project. Load any of the supplied impulse responses or create your own otherworldly reverb effects by sampling or loading your own impulse responses.

The Reason 8.3 update also includes many other highly requested features. Access the browser window from both the sequencer and the rack window. Hit the Z key and quickly zoom to and from your selection. Set MIDI focus in the rack without going to the sequencer. Plus, you get numerous other enhancements and bug fixes to make music creation even smoother.
