Founded by former roommates Ricky Mannion and Alex Weislow, M House Studios is a brand new pro audio brand and its first product – the 5020 stereo FET Limiter – has already found its way onto a number-one record.

The 5020 was designed to specifically to “smash your drum bus into pieces and glue it back together again with aggressive JFET limiting action,” claims the company on its website. That approach is clearly something that appealed to Grammy-winning mix engineer Vance Powell, who used one of the two production units in existence on The Raconteurs’ Help Us Stranger.

Watch our video above to hear the other production model in action.
