Percussa was at Superbooth in Berlin showing off the latest updates to its Percussa SSP (Super Signal Processor) system, one of which is a brand-new granular synth DSP module.

The Percussa SSP is a self-contained digital modular system that is built into a Eurorack-compatible enclosure. Although it went on sale last year, it’s developers have been working to expand its capabilities.

The system already boasts over 20 DSP modules, including a wavetable oscillator, a sampler with layering, an LFO, envelopes, filters, a waveshaper, sequencers and effects. Essentially, there’s more than enough to create some outlandish sounds.

With the addition of the granular processor, the sound-creation possibilities are extended even further. Watch our video for more info from Percussa founder Bert Shiettecatte and hear the new module in action.

The Percussa SSP Eurorack module is available now and costs $2,000. More information at percussa.com.
