Loop to your heart’s content with TC Electronic’s DITTO+
The brand packs in a memory bank to its well-loved DITTO pedal.
TC Electronic has announced an upgrade to its revered DITTO loop pedal – DITTO+. The new pedal lets you store loop sessions, so when that spark of genius hits, you can save it directly into DITTO+’s memory bank. There’s also a new hi-res visual display for realtime feedback.
DITTO+ has 99 memory slots for storing your loops with up to 60 minutes of 24-bit uncompressed audio. Plus, with Extend Loop mode, you can put longer overdubs on top of shorter loops by arranging the shorter loops side by side. TC Electronic DITTO+ will repeat the first loop until you’ve finished your overdub and link it all together in one sequence. With unlimited overdub and undo/redo functions available, you should have no trouble laying down the perfect session.
With import and export features, you can bring premade loops sessions and backing tracks to your rehearsals, and export the progress you make in your loops. Backing tracks can be imported via USB.
For the most part though, the pedal’s workflow isn’t too much different from its predecessor. In fact, with the original DITTO Looper mode available, you can keep it as old-school as you like.
