The Qube co-creation space comes to London this January
Music producers Nicholas Sonuga and Amin Hamzianpour will launch the venue and community for music professionals to connect, collaborate and create.

Us music producers are all too familiar with sitting alone in our studios and bedrooms, banging our heads against the wall trying to get that track finished. Sometimes you may reach out to a friend to check it out for opinions, but what if you had an entire community to chime in with their thoughts, and perhaps offer to collaborate on an idea to spin it into something incredible? Enter The Qube.
Boasting 30 state of the art soundproofed studios, quiet breakout spaces, co-work areas and cafe, with regular music events, the 22,000 square foot premises is coming to London in January 2020. The aim is to provide a sanctuary for London’s musicians, artists, managers, labels and creators, with the opportunity to collaborate and inspire one another to fulfil their creative potential.
Co-founders Nicholas Sonuga and Amin Hamzianpour are music producers, too, and realised the lack of open spaces for music-lovers to convene. The Qube is the answer – a vibrant community and unique, professional space for the music industry and creators beyond the realms of just music.
Hamzianpour said of his inspiration for The Qube: “Working as a music producer for the past five years, I have struggled tirelessly to find flexible and professional studio space with a real sense of community. Most creators are facing this same battle; artists, podcasters, songwriters, photographers, YouTubers, video editors, directors working from home or in dingy basement studios feeling isolated, with no real sense of belonging. We’ve set out to bridge that gap with the Qube; a home for a new generation of creators to connect, collaborate and most importantly, feel inspired to create their best work.”
Applications for membership at the Qube, which start at £100/month, are open now with limited availability pre-launch. Members are invited to the grand opening in January 2020 to introduce them to the space. Founding members thus far include Riz Ahmed, Krept & Konan, Rudimental’s Amir Amor, Mixcloud Co-founder Nikhil Shah, and leading music companies First Accsss Entertainment, ie:music, and Concord Music.
