After being available as ‘research-ware’, then as a public beta, U-He has finally released the official version of their Repro-1 synth, modeled on the Sequential Circuits Pro-1…
U-He states that, “Repro-1 dives into the past for analogue inspiration, reverently modeling a classic synth. Every detail of the original was captured using component-level modeling technology to create the most authentic model possible. All the subtle characteristics and quirks found in the original are present in Repro-1. Repro-1 is a fierce synth: hard-working, raw sounding and immensely playable.”
Featuring an intuitive classic design the Repro-1 includes two oscillators, white noise generator, arpeggiator, sequencer, 500 factory presets and a wealth of other extensive features.
The Repro-1 can be purchased for $99 in VST/AU/AAX formats for Windows, OS X and Linux from the U-He website, where you can find full information and also a downloadable demo.
